Dr. Emily E. McMahan is an exceptional audiologist who loves helping her patients enhance the quality of their lives. While she assists with a wide range of Alaskan audiology needs, one major part of her practice is of tinnitus evaluation and management.
Dr. McMahan attended the University of Cincinnati where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2009. She furthered her professional education by obtaining her Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University in Philadelphia in 2013. She completed her residency in Anchorage and has been applying her expertise to her patients in the Pacific Northwest for several years. Whether you need hearing testing, hearing aids, or assistance with managing tinnitus in your daily lives, Dr. McMahan is qualified to assist you!

She holds Board Certification in Audiology through the American Board of Audiology.

Dr. McMahan loves the people and the beauty of Anchorage and is proud to call Alaska her home. Her hobbies include exploring Alaska, hiking, traveling, baking, spending time with her family and friends, and playing with her dogs. She serves as the President of Alaska Dog and Puppy Rescue and Peak Missions International. She is also involved in community outreach events through Anchorage South Rotary and other organizations.
Nicolette Butler is an Audiology Resident at AHTC where she is passionate about meeting the individual hearing health needs of her patients. She loves using hearing aid technology to help patients communicate effectively in their everyday lives.
Nicolette attended Middle Tennessee State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders in 2014. Nicolette is pursuing her Doctorate of Audiology from East Tennessee State University. She will graduate with her Au.D. in May 2018. Nicolette enjoys drinking copious amounts of coffee, cooking, reading, and hiking with her husband and dogs. Nicolette lives in Anchorage with her husband, John, and two dogs, Sol and Lucy.
