Hey there,

Everyone at Alaska Hearing & Tinnitus Center hopes you had a fantastic holiday season.

Although you may have had to celebrate a bit differently this winter, we can’t wait to hear all your stories when you next speak to us!

And despite 2020 not going exactly to plan, there are so many reasons to be optimistic about 2021!

In fact, our team is super excited for the upcoming year, and we are so thankful to be here and prepared for what it will bring us! Our goal is to help every patient that walks through our doors to hear the life they love!

Audiology is an essential healthcare service. Regardless of the pandemic, we are here, we are open, and we follow all recommended guidelines.

We will continue to offer Telehealth and no-contact drop-offs/curbside appointments, as well as in-person appointments.

We are also excited to introduce Cognivue into our practice! Hearing loss and cognitive decline are closely related, and we have implemented an FDA approved screening tool to measure cognition. We are thrilled to have this additional tool in helping to correct hearing loss and improve cognition based upon the scores obtained!

And finally, there’s another new addition – our Hearing Aid Repair service. We can repair all major hearing aid manufacturers in the office! If we cannot service it in the office, we use an “all-make” lab where we send hearing aids in for repair! In these cases, all hearing aids are checked upon return, settings are verified, and are prepped before they make it back into your hands!

As a result, there are now more ways to get specialist hearing care solutions than ever before.

If you would like to book an appointment or find out more about how we can assist you, call our friendly team at (907) 522-4357.

Office Updates

Just a friendly reminder – If you need to be seen in our office, you will be asked to review our COVID questionnaire, have a quick temperature check, and wear a mask.

We have a strict sanitization policy and masking policies in place for our team members as well!

Best of Alaska 2020!

Alaska Hearing & Tinnitus Center was voted the Platinum winner in Best Hearing Care Center in the state!

We have won 5 years in a row (since we opened) and counting!

Hear for the Holidays Winner

And finally, we were delighted to fit our Hear for the Holiday’s winner with their brand-new hearing devices back in December.

Wayde was hand-selected the winner based on his story, and it was a unanimous decision by our team as we privately voted who we wanted to receive the gift of hearing.

Wayde has been a caregiver for his wife, who recently lost her battle to cancer. He is also a local business owner who lost his business due to Covid and the caregiving of his late wife.

He was in great need of hearing help to begin to rebuild his life; we couldn’t have chosen a more deserving winner.

There were tears of joy as Wayde was fit with his brand-new hearing technology!

Congratulations Wayde!

Riddle me This

It’s true to say that many of you enjoyed our holiday game in last month’s newsletter, and everyone at the office loved your feedback.

So to lift all our spirits, we decided to offer you three more riddles to guess!

A) What can you keep after giving to someone?

B) What kind of band never plays music?

C) What has words but never speaks?

Think you know the answers? Hit “reply” on this email and send us your guesses!
