Local Audiology Clinic Awarded Platinum for 2021 Best Of Alaska Hearing Care

01/05/2022 | Industry News, News, Patient Resources

Dr. Emily McMahan is awarded Platinum for hearing care by the 2021 Best of Alaska Awards. Remarkably, she has held this position since she opened her clinic.

There were over 100 categories, including entertainment, coffee spot, and hearing care. The organization, Best of Alaska, aims to award some of Alaska’s top-rated businesses and give them the accreditation they deserve – this year being particularly special.

Primarily a live event featuring food, drink, and entertainment, the award ceremony was postponed due to challenges resulting from the pandemic.

The 2020 and 2021 winners will join on Saturday, March 19, 2022 to celebrate their winnings.

Dr. McMahan Wins Platinum for Alaska Hearing and Tinnitus Center in Best of Alaska

Dr. Emily McMahan, the owner of Alaska Hearing and Tinnitus Center, said:

“Alaska has suffered more than most this year, and I know firsthand that many of my patients have felt the strain.

“To be awarded for my hard work is such an honor and I will take this with sincere appreciation. It only strives me to work even harder and help thousands of others!”

The pandemic has forced businesses and many organizations to a halt. With temperatures often reaching well below -60 F, Alaska is particularly at risk, and they have enforced some of the tightest restrictions.

Thus, complying with COVID rules is essential to business, especially in hearing healthcare, where many patients are elderly.

With that said, Alaska Hearing & Tinnitus Center has revolutionized the way they operate to bring patients a range of secure and non-contact options, including Curbside appointments, telehealth appointments, and mail order repairs and adjustments.

Do you know somebody that needs to see this? Why not share it?
