I’m proud to share that with Alaska Hearing & Tinnitus Center’s help, Lenire has found further evidence of success in treating tinnitus, with a groundbreaking 92% of hearing aid users and 86% of non-hearing aid users finding lasting relief from tinnitus symptoms.
Lenire, the latest and greatest in treating tinnitus, features dual stimulation modes to redirect the brain’s attention from the noise of tinnitus and toward more soothing tones, helped along by the Bluetooth headphones and sound therapies and the patented Tonguetip for gentle, distracting stimulation.
It was a pleasure to be part of this study to learn more about Lenire’s wide-reaching effects on tinnitus and how it affected the patients I saw to help with treatment. As one of the first registered providers of Lenire, seeing firsthand how it helped my patients was motivating and reassuring.
The Study Says…
I saw 214 patients to treat with Lenire, and I was looking to see how the treatment worked to alleviate symptoms of their tinnitus. 88 patients came with previously fitted hearing aids, and 126 patients were without hearing aids.
I asked my patients to use Lenire for two 30-minute sessions per day and then asked about how the treatment was faring 10-14 weeks after device fitting.
Of the 214 patients who returned for assessment, 92% of hearing aid users and 86% of non-hearing aid users reported that they found Lenire to be beneficial.
This high “yes” response rate was observed in both groups, regardless of whether a patient was currently using hearing aids.
We found that recommending Lenire at the beginning of your tinnitus care journey yielded beneficial results for concerns of tinnitus, regardless of whether you have hearing aids or not.
